Email

Email Notifications: Carl's Cycle Sales Online Department keeps full records of all email correspondence to trace any errors that might occur. To guarantee processing of your order please observe all email notices and respond accordingly. If you do not respond accordingly your order could be subject to cancellation.

Shipping and Handling

Shipping and Handling Charges: Shipping and handling charges are calculated by this website based on total price of your order. Oversized or heavy items will require an additional shipping cost that cannot be generated by carlscycle.com. Any increase in shipping cost is estimated after the order is received.

We will notify you via email if there is an increase in the shipping charge or your order totals prior to billing and shipping.

Shipping Service: Carl’s Cycle Sales ships UPS Ground within the continental US. Items shipped via UPS cannot be delivered to a P.O. box so a physical address is required.

Carl’s Cycle Sales ships UPS or USPS for all shipments to Alaska, Hawaii and international locations. Shipments to Alaska, Hawaii and international locations will have an additional shipping cost applied.

International Orders: International orders will only be sent to the original billing address. Weight, size and value restrictions apply. All international orders are additionally screened for fraud and are subject to discretionary cancellation.

Alaska and Hawaii Orders: Shipping costs displayed on carlscycle.com do NOT reflect shipping rates for locations outside of the continental US. An additional email will be sent after receiving your order confirmation with calculated shipping costs to your location. An approval is required within 48 hours from when the Alaska or Hawaii shipping rate notification email is sent or the entire order will be cancelled. Alaska and Hawaii orders will only be sent to the original billing address.

You will receive email notification with tracking information the day your order ships.

Delivery Time: Allow 2-10 business days for delivery of non-backordered items in the continental US. Allow additional time for shipments to Alaska, Hawaii and International Orders.

Consolidated Shipments: Entire orders will be shipped together if possible.

Carl's Cycle Sales is not responsible for errors made by UPS, Fed-Ex, USPS or any other shipping service.

Returns and Exchanges

General: All returns must be postmarked no later than 30 days from the original customer shipment date. Returns and exchanges must be in new condition and must include all instructions and original packing material. Customer pays all return shipping charges. Include a copy of your packing list with all returns.

Original shipping and handling charges are not refundable. Returns must be preauthorized by us and are subject to a 20% re-stocking fee. These amounts will be deducted from the original amount billed and the remaining balance will be credited to the original Paypal account.

Incorrect Item: If you received an incorrect item no extra charges will be incurred. We will replace incorrect items and pay the additional shipping charge.

Incorrect Size: No charge for exchange. We will exchange customer orders that do not fit, if the customer requests the same item in a different size. Customer pays all shipping charges.

Customer Order Error: Incorrect customer orders can be exchanged for any other item without paying the restocking charge. However, the customer will pay the additional shipping and handling charge. The replacement item must be of equal or higher value of the original item.

Return Shipping Instructions: Return via prepaid UPS or US mail. Insure shipment for full value of purchase. Use original packaging. We are not responsible for packages lost during return shipping.

Return/Exchange Instructions: Enclose a copy of your packing list or E-mail Invoice along with detailed return/exchange instructions. Send exchanges and returns to dealership.

Sales Tax

Sales tax is charged on instate orders if required by law.

Payment Methods

Orders accepted via secure online order form only. Payments accepted via Paypal only. Credit card payments can be made via Paypal without a Paypal account. Paypal purchases verified for your protection.

Special Ordered Items

Special Order: If an item is not in-stock it will be automatically special ordered. Once a special order has been processed, cancellation of that special order will be subject to a 20% re-stocking fee.

Filling Special orders: Special orders will be filled before new orders when the special ordered items become available.

Delivery Time: Allow 5-10 business days for us to receive special order items and allow an additional 2-10 business days for delivery of special order items in the continental US. Allow additional time for shipments to Alaska, Hawaii and international orders. You will receive email notification with tracking information the day your order ships.

Backordered Items

Backorders: If an item is backordered, we will notify you via e-mail. Shipments scheduled more than 30 days after the order date: We will notify you via email and give you a cancellation option. Filling backorders: Backorders will be filled before new orders when the backordered items become available.
