Engine Mods
Reknown for Polaris engine performance, Carl’s Cycle Performance has expertise in engine tuning and modifications for snowmobiles, dirt bikes, sportbikes, dual-sports, side-by-sides, ATVs and watercraft.
Carl's custom case or cylinder porting specs are developed by Jack Struthers, Snowmobile Hall Of Famer, snowmobile and watercraft legend, and all-around powersports enthusiast. To quote Snowest Magazine's Steve Janes in their 2005 Deep Powder Challenge, "Any time you let Jack Struthers build your engine, you know you're going to get much more power that's been hiding or untapped." To untap that extra power in Polaris snowmobiles, Carl's will custom port cylinders or cases for each particular machine. If you are looking for proven Polaris performance and reliability, Carl's Performance engine modifications are the way to go.
In addition, Carl's provides carburetor boring, cylinder replating and resleeving services, jetting and clutching setup help, and ignition map programming.
What about dirt and street? Carl's is more than just a snowmobile engine work specialist. We also do off-road 4-Stroke and 2-Stroke dirt bike, dual-sport, side-by-side and ATV motors engine work. Not to mention, street exhaust, jetting and EFI power module tuning specialists.
Check with us today for specs for your snowmobile, dirt bike, dual-sport, streetbike, side-by-side or ATV.

Suspension Services
Carl's Cycle Sales is an official Fox Shocks distributor for the west. We specialize in Polaris trail and mountain Fox shock applications. All of our Fox shocks are sold with Carl's Performance custom field-tested valving specs

When the snow stops falling, Carl's has the ability to get your dirt bike, dual-sport, side-by-side or ATV suspension dialed with the right setup. We re-valve the front forks and/or rear shock to work for the rider's weight, type of riding (i.e., Trail, MX, etc.) and experience level. Having the proper suspension setup can mean the difference between a smooth or scary ride.
Carl's services snowmobile, dirt bike, dual-sport, side-by-side and ATV shocks and forks. Oil change and service should be done at least once per year on sleds, and for offroad at least twice a year depending upon how much you ride. Specialty fork and shock lowering can also be done in-house.
Note: We service Fox and Ryde FX snow shocks.
